Dear Anwar:
   It is so great to see you back at CTV!!  You look like you haven't been sick at all ... vibrant as ever!  I would like to tell you how much I have enjoyed reading your blogs during your journey with that dreaded disease and I know that they have helped many people deal with stressful health issues as well.  Even those of us who may not be dealing with health issues, your blogs have been inspiring, humorous and really have been a big help to me just facing day to day issues that sometimes arise.  Thank you Anwar for your totally selfless act in sharing your journey with all of us.  My husband and I wish you every good and wonderful blessings in the future and we pray that this disease is totally behind you now.  Praying for you and the family ....and don't forget -- LIVE, LOVE AND LAUGH!
As an afterthought, I've just found out I don't have to have a pacemaker and I feel very blessed all is okay in that area!

Hi Anwar, I was so touched to finally turn to the Toronto morning show and once again see you smiling face. I was first introduced to you on Canada AM, as you filled in for Jeff. I immediately connected with your smiling and warm personality, and dry unique sense of humor. I followed your blog as you shared your illness and recovery with us, and thought how brave you were, as a public figure, to share something so personal and I am sure terrifying, with strangers. I am a firm believer in the power of faith and positive thinking as a best weapon against any illness or adversity, along with good medical treatment. You have demonstrated such faith and positive energy, that you give many people hope in their lives.
May you life always be filled with peace, love, joy, and continued good health.

Hi Anwar,  It's Amy and Greg saying a big hello.  I am happy to hear the road is improving.  We had no idea what was happening until I checked your name and your wife's to check in and I was shocked to see the link....I wish you guys nothing but the best and if you need to have that country walk you know where you can find us....take care, Love you guys

Hope you and your family have a very Merry Christmas and all the best in the new year. I have now been cancer free for two years. I had my school concert on Dec.17 and I played the drums. It was fun.
